Family-Friendly B&B... Right
on the Katy Trail.
We look forward to continuing and building upon the warm
hospitality and friendly, down-to-earth nature of the B&B. We are a
family-friendly B&B and we look forward to making your stay as pleasant as a
peach. We have young children
ourselves, and we know how important it is to have a "home away from home"
on vacation. I think you'll agree that our bed & breakfast is just that.
We have a "Self
Check In." Your reservation confirmation email will provide you with the key
code and all of the information needed for your stay, including directions
and contact information should you need anything during your stay. We live a
few blocks away, offering our guests maximum privacy and solitude at our bed
& breakfast.
Going Green
We are
also beginning a journey to "Go Green." We believe that our B&B should
reflect our personal desire to find more sustainable ways to enjoy our
earth's resources, by utilizing newer, incredibly energy-efficient
appliances, and a variety of earth-friendly products where possible. We also
use organic and locally grown produce when possible.
Mi Casa Es Su Casa
I have lived in Rocheport for 10 years--ever
since my husband Brett asked me to come to Rocheport to "hibernate with him
for the winter." I've been here ever since! I look forward to sharing
our B&B, and our town, with you.
Brett authors Missouri guidebooks like The
Complete Katy Trail Guidebook, Exploring Missouri Wine Country,
and Exploring Lewis & Clark's Missouri. He runs the
Pebble Publishing
Bookstore a couple blocks away.
He also guides
canoe floats on the
Missouri River too.
Plan to spend an extra day in Rocheport so that Mighty Mo Canoe Rentals can
take you for a guided interpretive float downriver to learn about Lewis &
Clark, the history of the river and more. Then they will take your bike down
to Huntsdale so that you can pedal back on the Katy Trail, or ride the
shuttle back to Rocheport if you prefer.
Please join me for a stay in Rocheport, a
pretty little piece of Missouri, where cyclists, families and couples can
all find a great escape, a romantic rendezvous or a welcomed 'shelter from
the storm.'
